Whether you’re just getting started or ready to take things to the next level, here’s how to build your brand online with clarity and confidence. 

Why Social Media Still Matters 

Let’s be clear: social media is free marketing. It’s where your customers already are, and it’s one of the fastest ways to build credibility. In today’s digital-first world, social media isn’t optional — it’s essential. 

“I don’t use social media” is like saying “I don’t use a phone” in 2025. If you have a product or business you believe in, this is the place to share it. 

What to Post: Photos vs Reels 

You’ve probably heard that video is king — and it’s true — but both photo content and video content have their place. Here’s how to know which to use: 

Photos & Graphics (aka Static Posts + Carousels) 

  • Quick to make when you’re short on time 
  • Perfect for educational tips or quotes 
  • Easy to batch ahead using templates 
  • Less pressure (you don’t have to show your face!) 
  • Great for clean product shots 

Reels 

  • Massive organic reach (Instagram favors video and pushes videos out to non-followers) 
  • Helps you build trust — people connect with you 
  • Lets you show how you use the product 
  • Works beautifully for storytelling 
  • Ideal for trending content 

Bottom line: Use both. Use photos to teach. Use video to connect. 

What Makes a Reel Actually Work? 

Every high-performing reel has four key ingredients: 

  1. Hook – Something that stops the scroll 
  1. Problem – A relatable pain point your audience feels 
  1. Solution – Not just the product, but what the product does 
  1. Call to Action – Tell them what to do next (save video, comment, DM) 

People don’t buy products. They buy solutions to their problems. 

Steal These Hooks (Yes, Really) 

If you ever feel stuck on what to say, use one of these proven openers: 

  • “Calling all ….” (identify a specific audience such as medical professionals, gym rats, health nuts, coaches, etc.) 
  • “Can I share a secret?” 
  • “Did you know ….”(share an interesting statistic) 
  • “How to …” 
  • “Fun fact: ….” (share a fun fact about the industry, an ingredient, a product etc.) 
  • “I wasn’t going to share this, but …” 
  • “The biggest lesson I’ve learned in my life.” 
  • “Do you only focus on …? Let me stop you right there. 
  • “Here’s how I know … is possible for you” 
  • “X Steps to …” 
  • “I can’t believe … but …” 
  • “Hate …? You are in luck.” 
  • “How I went from …” 
  • “You’ll never believe this.” 
  • Why I don’t …” 
  • If you want.... , read the caption below. 
Nervous About Being on Camera? 

Good news — you don’t have to show your face to create amazing content. 

Try this instead: 

  • Record a voiceover over a product shot 
  • Use a text-only reel with a powerful hook 
  • Film your hands unboxing or mixing your product 
  • Repost videos and graphics from the @three_international social media accounts! 

Start where you’re comfortable, but don’t stay stuck there forever. Growth happens when you stretch. 

The Simple Posting Plan 

You don’t need to be online all day. Try this weekly rhythm to stay consistent: 

  • 2 Reels 
  • 2 Stories 
  • 1 Static Post or Carousel
